What’s Included

This listing applies to both Vermont Vacation Homes, and is provided to help you plan your visit to the house. It is not meant to be all-inclusive. The houses are fully-equipped for your visit. There are, of course, things that you will want to bring, including your food, supplies and personal items.  Both houses have patio areas with Adirondack chairs and picnic tables.

Kitchen 

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances: a full sized refrigerator and freezer with water and ice dispenser; a dishwasher, six (five at Littlebranch)  burner (propane)  cooktop, and an oven with broiler. There is also a countertop microwave, a coffee maker (filters provided) and a four slice toaster.  In addition, the kitchen has one full setting of large and small plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, cups, and flat ware for twelve people. The kitchen has a full set of top quality cookware including pots and pans of varying sizes, mixing bowls, salad bowls, serving utensils, cooking utensils, assorted chef’s knives, BBQ utensils, large serving platter, serving plates and bowls, baking dishes of varying sizes and shapes, cake pans, bottle openers, cork screws, potholders, dishtowels, etc.

An outdoor propane BBQ is available for your use (please clean the BBQ after each use).

Also included are the following basic dispensable items:

Coffee

Salt and pepper
Tea and sugar, and sugar alternatives for morning drinks

Laundry 

There are full size high efficiency top loading washer and front loading dryer in both houses. We provide laundry detergent (for 5 to 6 loads), dryer sheets, and an iron in each house.

Bathrooms 

Each bathroom has a complimentary supply of soap, and shampoo and conditioners. This may not be enough for your entire visit, so you may want to bring your favorite items with you. 

Thick white terrycloth towels are sufficiently provided for all visitors. These include bath towels, hand towels, face cloths and bath mats. 
Each bathroom has a small size bathroom trash can, toilet paper and tissues.  There is one hair dryer in each house.

Bedrooms

Each bedroom is made up for your arrival with sheets, pillows, blankets and comforter.  Seasonal comforts are fans, portable heaters, and extra blankets.  Hallways and bathrooms have automatic night lights. Extra bedding for futons and sofa beds are located in the Master Bedroom wardrobe and in the Family Room cabinets (Mettawee House).  A pack 'n' play portable crib is located in the Master Bedroom closet (both houses).

Pool Room (Mettawee House only)

Some pool toys (swim noodles, inner tubes and beach balls for example) are available in the deck box.  CD Sound system for music (CD Collection provided) and a BlueTooth Speaker is provided while swimming.  You may want to bring your Spotify playlist or favorite CDs!

Before Leaving Your Home

Let someone know you are going to be away, and how to reach you, and when you plan to return.
Turn off lights, set timers, etc. 
Lock your house and garage, windows, doors, etc. 
Arrange for pet care, as necessary.
