Enjoy the Indoor Heated Pool . . . . Exclusively Yours During Your Stay.

A 12 foot wide x 36 feet long in-ground - INDOOR - heated pool is for your exclusive use during your stay. The pool room is surrounded by windows and doors to the patio area on the south side of the property, providing full southern sunshine during the afternoon. The doors open onto the patio and deck areas, where you can lounge in the sun, have a BBQ, or just plain relax and unwind while looking out on the spectacular mountain setting and perennial gardens.

Or you can simply enjoy lounging in the pool room in one of the comfortable lounge chairs provided. The pool is approximately eight feet deep at the deepest point and four feet deep at the shallow end. It is generally kept between 75 and 80 degrees. The pool room is totally relaxing, whether you are watching the kids play for hours, or floating in quiet solitude. Pool toys are provided, but you may want to bring your own mask, snorkel and fins.

This is a private pool - there is no life guard, and swimming is at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times. Please obey all pool rules as described in the house rules and posted at the pool.

Mettawee House Interior Common Areas

The Mettawee Pool House has a fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator, a gas stovetop and oven, a dishwasher and more. There is a large dining table suitable for your entire party. The living room is equipped with two plush sofas perfect for gazing out of the windows or snuggling up with a good book. The family room is the perfect gathering space for a movie, board games, or reading one of our many books. This room has the capacity to be turned into an additional bedroom with a pull-out bed and french doors.
